I replaced my 4-yr old Paddletek Tempest Wave Pro with the Force 5G 14 mm. I suspect my old paddle was worn out and had dead spots, so the Crush is more consistent and forgiving. It also has a grittier surface so I get some very nice spin. However, it picks up a bunch of pickleball debris so I had to purchase a paddle eraser. Apparently if you let the debris accumulate it will tend to diminish the spin provided by the gritty paddle. It is nice that Crush provides a cover with the paddle, but instead of the free small first aid kit they also provide, an eraser would be more useful. However, there are other means one could use to clean the paddle, but the eraser is convenient.

I did test drive a few other paddles from Paddletek and Selkirk before purchasing the Crush. The Crush seemed the best for me. It has a nice large sweet spot, provides great spin, and has reasonable power. I'm happy with my purchase.

Also, I like the grip texture, feel, and size. It is very comfortable and allows me to hold the paddle well. However, I can't figure out why they had to make it white; a color that will become visibly dirty very quickly. Oh well.

I did a lot of research and tried several paddles before buying the PRO Paddle Force 5G 16mm and I am glad I did. I love the control and the grit on the surface of the paddle. I have a hard serve with a lot of spin and I feel that I can get the speed and dip out of my serve that I am looking for. As far as feel and control this was an upgrade over the other paddles I have had or tried. Paddles are personal and everyone is different but I feel for what you get and the fact it is not overpriced I think it is an option I would highly recommend.

It does not live up to his claim

I have been playing Pickleball for nine years, after long, competitive careers in both tennis and squash. In those nine years I have tried playing with about 12 different paddles. I especially liked several Encore models and one Joola. The Joola broke at the handle after about four months, and the Encores just got surpassed by other paddle technologies. Then a fellow competitor urged me to try the Crush Force G. I have fallen in love with it. It has the right combo of weight, power and feel. It has been a long time since I have felt this comfortable playing PB.

I was so surprised by this paddle. 1. It was a gift- a very generous gift 2. It’s my most favorite paddle I’ve played with thus far 3. Why don’t more people know about this brand and have it?? You need it.
Highly recommend - it has fun power and control, feels good in the hand. Can’t say enough good things about it
